「衛福部．經濟部藥物科技研究發展獎」為獎勵國內藥物製造廠及從事藥物研發的機構，致力於新藥物或相關產製技術研發且成效卓越者，特頒發此獎項鼓勵以提升台灣生技品牌價值與增加醫療產業國際競爭力。
日祥PAX1甲基化核酸分子檢測套組利用脫落細胞以非侵入性的分子檢驗方式，藉由檢測PAX1基因甲基化程度，用以評估是否具有罹患子宮頸癌的風險。
此技術特點具備甲基化分子檢測技術之創新性，對於產製技術研發有卓越的成效，故獲得由衛生福利部與經濟部共同頒發藥物科技研究發展獎之製造技術類銅質獎。

The "Ministry of Health and Welfare & The Ministry of Economic Affairs' Pharmaceutical Technology Research & Development Award" is to reward domestic pharmaceuticals and drug research and development entities who are committed to the research and development of new drugs or related manufacturing technologies, which have outstanding achievements. This award encourages the promotion of Taiwan's biotechnology brand value and increase the international competitiveness of the medical industry.
The EpiGene PAX1 DNA Methylation Detection Kit uses a non-invasively collected exfoliated cells to detect the methylation level of the PAX1 gene to assess the risk of cervical cancer.
This method features the innovation of methylation detection technology, the excellence in the research and development and production technology. iStat has thus received the Pharmaceutical Technology Research & Development Bronze Award for manufacturing technology division, from the joint Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
